Make Glass Beads! - Shop

Do you want to learn how to make glass beads?

And live in South Australia? (I am in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide).

Following recent renovations to my home studio, I am now able to offer lampwork bead making tuition.  I teach on my Carlisle Mini CC (dual fuel torch), but also have a Hot Head torch available for use, GTT Cricket and GTT Bobcat, if preferred.  (The Hot Head is a single fuel, entry level, beginners torch, on which a large majority of bead makers will have started with).  I have public liability insurance and am covered for tuition.

I am flexible on dates, weekday or weekend - please contact me to arrange a booking.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required on booking (I will send you a Paypal invoice after a date has been fixed).

AN INTRODUCTION TO BEAD MAKING - FULL DAY WORKSHOP

This class is for one person and the day will usually last from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm. Everything is supplied (glass, tools, safety glasses). What my students have said......

"As a lapsed chalkie, I'm delighted to tell you that your lesson was well structured, building on existing skills as you moved through the activities, your instructions and demonstrations were clear and easy to follow, there was a good balance of instruction/demonstration and "hands on" practice, and most importantly the class was GREAT FUN! I am at a loss to suggest any changes you could make to improve it!".......Patti B

"I was really looking foward to learning how to lamp work and was not disappointed...Stephanie was a pleasure to have as a teacher and worked with me at my own pace...I learnt so much and having that one-on-one learning environment made it so much more relaxed and enjoyable.  I will definitely book some more lessons with her in the near future."..........Sara B
